Tata Ace loaded with drinking water overturns in Dhenkanal, driver narrowly escapes

Kamakyanagar: A Tata Ace carrying hundreds of litres of packaged drinking water overturned on National Highway-53 near Parjang in Odisha’s Dhenkanal district after reportedly suffering a tyre burst.

The incident occurred in Kamakhyanagar subdivision under Parjang police station limits.

As per the reports, the Tata Ace vehicle was heading toward a location carrying a number of water bottles and jars on board when it encountered a tire burst, leading to loss of control by the driver.

Following this, the vehicle flipped over to the roadside, spilling a massive amount of packaged drinking water along with the huge containers of water bottles all over the area.

However, the driver narrowly escaped with minor injuries.

On receiving information, police reached the spot and have initiated a probe to the case.

Further investigation is underway.
