Apple rolls out iOS 18.1 developer beta 6 for iPhones, What’s new and list of eligible models

However, only the users who have signed up for the beta testing programme can get access to the latest iOS update. The new beta 6 has added support for Apple Intelligence and an updated Siri assistant along with other features.
Meanwhile, the Apple Watch users has also received a new version of watchOS 11.1 developer beta with new features like Sleep Apnea detection. The said feature will be supported on the Watch Series 10, Watch Series 9, and Watch Ultra 2.The feature will alert the users about signs of moderate to severe sleep apnea after analysing the data about breathing irregularities during sleep. The feature analyse the data every 30 days. It uses the accelerometer on the Apple Watch to detect breathing irregularities.
The Sleep Apnea detection feature is also available with the iOS 18.1 developer beta 6. Users running the latest iOS beta on their iPhones can enable the feature on their paired Apple Watch Series 10, Series 9, and Watch Ultra 2 models.
The public version of the iOS 18.1 update will be released later this month. The watchOS 11.1 and macOS Sequoia will also be released on the same day. The tech giant will also debut the Apple Intelligence features across its supported ecosystem products.
There are additional user interface changes for certain Apple Intelligence features. For instance, the Apple Intelligence icon on the toolbar in the Notes app has been updated to display a pencil.
Apart from these, Apple has also redesigned icons and user interface elements across the board. Now, the grouped notifications for specific apps display the number of merged notifications. New toggles can also be added to the Control Centre, including options for the Measure and Level tools from the Measure app.
