Minor girl sexually assaulted in Rourkela yet again, police probe underway

Rourkela: A minor girl has allegedly been sexually assaulted in Rourkela of Sundargarh district in Odisha said reports on Saturday. The incident allegedly took place under Uditnagar police limits. A case has been registered in this connection and investigation has been initiated.

As per reports, a 11-year-old minor girl was allegedly raped by her neighbour. The family of the victim girl lodged a complaint at Uditnagar Police Station in this connection.

As alleged in the First Information Report (FIR) the girl was raped by her neighbour while she had gone there. Later, the family of the victim lodged a complaint.

Police registered a case on the basis of the complaint and initiated probe. Further investigation of the case is underway. Till this report was written, no accused person was arrested.

Recently, on September 22 two minor sisters were allegedly gang raped in Rourkela bus stand area and on September 25 also a minor was allegedly raped under Raghnathpali Police Station limits.
