New Delhi: Notorious outlaw Lalan Singh, carrying a 21.25 lakh reward killed by police in an encounter in UP

Lalan Singh, one of the most wanted criminals from Bihar, was killed in a police encounter in Uttar Pradesh on Saturday.
The dreaded outlaw was cornered by the police after inputs on his location were received. While encountering the police, Singh allegedly resorted to firing at the police party.

Singh has a bounty of $1.25 lakh against his head for being involved in several criminal activities like extortion, murder, and others.

The encounter was conducted by UP Police and teams of some other forces that have been in chase of him for quite some time, police said. The police had recovered some weapons at the scene of the crime.
