Mumbai: The Mumbai Crime Branch has recovered two firearms and 10 live cartridges from Surat, Gujarat, in connection with the firing incident targeting Bollywood actor Tiger Shroff’s car in Mumbai’s Juhu area.
The firearms were seized during a number of targeted raids on Friday, October 23, as part of investigations into the suspected distribution network providing the weapons to the attackers.
The confiscated firearms and ammunition have been submitted to forensic testing and ballistics to see if they correspond with the empty cartridges at the scene of the crime.
The firing occurred on the night of October 18 when two persons, suspected to be assailants, allegedly opened fire at Shroff’s vehicle in Juhu and escaped on a motorcycle.
According to the report, the attacker fired five to six rounds, the actor was relatively unscathed, with his driver and a pedestrian getting injured in the incident. The motorcycle used in the attack was found abandoned at Andheri.

Anil Pandit, the gangster who allegedly took responsibility for the attack on social media, has been declared a wanted accused.
The probe is still on and Crime Branch is probing the source of the seized guns, the connection in the arms-supply chain and the involvement of other accused.
The ballistic report should provide more evidence as to whether the guns recovered were the ones used in the shooting.
