Watch: OTET 2026 exam underway across Odisha, over 97,000 candidates appear

Bhubanewar: The Odisha Teacher Eligibility Test (OTET) is currently being conducted across Odisha on Sunday as thousands of aspirants attend test centers.
As per reports, the first session will be conducted from 9 AM to 11.30 AM while the second session would be from 2 PM to 4.30 PM.
The Board of Secondary Education (BSE), Odisha has set up a total of 311 examination centers in districts for as many as 97,251 candidates.
As many as 28,821 candidates have registered for Paper I and 68,330 candidates have registered for Paper II.
In addition, 13,544 candidates are also taking part as in-service teachers.

Notably, this year OTET examination has already been deferred twice.
The examination which was scheduled on June 21 was postponed to June 28 after the Board had noticed it coincides with the NEET examinations.
Later, as OSSSC had fixed June 28 for RI and Amin examination, board decided to defer OTET.
