Odisha Cabinet approves 10 proposals of six departments

Bhubaneswar: Odisha Cabinet which met this evening under the chairmanship of Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi approved a total of 10 proposals of different departments.
The 46th Cabinet meeting of the Odisha government approved 10 proposals of six departments of the state government.

Here’s the list of the proposals that got the cabinet nod today:
- Acceptance of single bid submitted by M/s TCS Ltd. amounting to 1,22,60,25,436.00 (excluding taxes) for implementation of OSWAS 3.0.
- “Improvement to Tanks & MIPs – Phase-III” scheme for implementation over a period of four years (FY 2026-27 to FY 2029-30) with a total outlay of Rs 389.00 crore for the revival of approximately 15,700 hectares of ayacut.
- Rs 296.99 Crore for continuation of the State Sector Scheme ‘Jashoda’ and Sub-Scheme ‘Ashirbad’ for Vulnerable Children.
- “Amendment to Odisha Pumped Storage Projects (PSP) Policy, 2025 and Operational Guidelines on PSP Policy, 2025.”
- “Execution of Parbati Giri Megalift Irrigation Project” with an outlay of Rs.12458.04 crore for implementation out of State’s own resources over a period of 5 years i.e. from FY 2026-27 to FY 2030-31 to create an additional irrigation potential of 2,62,275 Ha through 161 nos. schemes in all districts of the State.
- Third Amendment to the Odisha Semiconductor Manufacturing and Fabless Policy.
- Amendment of certain provisions of the Odisha Renewable Energy Policy (OREP), 2022 with a view to accelerating renewable energy development, enhancing investor confidence and ensuring affordable green power for consumers of the State.
- Continuation of the State Sector Scheme “Malati Devi Prak Vidyalaya Paridhan Yojana” with revision in Unit Cost of Uniforms, Shoes & Socks and Sweaters & provision for an additional pair of Socks for the children.
- Odisha Civil Services (Rehabilitation Assistance) Rules, 2026, replacing the Odisha Civil Services (Rehabilitation Assistance) Rules, 2020.
