Odisha Police Recruitment 2026: Notification for 4219 Civil Constable Posts to be out soon

The Odisha Uniformed Services Staff Selection Commission (OUSSC) is expected to release a fresh notification for 4219 (Civil Constable) in Odisha Police soon. The official notification will likely be released on its official website soon.

All interested and eligible candidates can apply for the civil constable posts on the official OUSSSC portal, once the apply link is activated.

To be eligible to apply for the Odisha Police Constable or Sepoy recruitment, the candidate should have passed Class 10 (Matriculation) from a recognised board with Odia, must clear a competitive, merit-based recruitment conducted through a written exam followed by mandatory physical testing.

Educational Qualification

Eligible candidates must have passed Class 10 (Matriculation). The applicant who wants to apply for Odisha Police Constable recruitment should also have Odia language knowledge and speak Odia.

Age Limit

The candidate should be aged between 18 to 23 years.

Written Exam (CBRE):

A 100-mark computer-based test lasting 120 minutes, covering General Knowledge, Mathematics, Reasoning, English, and Odia.

Physical Measurement Test (PMT):

A mandatory qualifying round checking minimum height (168 cm for UR/SEBC males, 163 cm for SC/ST males) and corresponding weight/chest standards.
