Odisha to witness rain, thunderstorm for 3 more days, check day-wise warnings

Bhubaneswar: Odisha is set to witness rain and thunderstorms over the next three days due to an active trough line extending from Gangetic West Bengal to Madhya Maharashtra, predicted the India Meteorological Department (IMD).
As per reports, rainfall is likely at several places from October 6 to 9, with Yellow Warning issued for several districts.
Forecast for October 6: scattered thunderstorm / heavy rain likely to occur at one or two places over the districts of Baleshwar, Bhadrak, Jajpur, Kendrapada, Jagatsinghpur, Kataka, Sundargada, Jharsuguda, Baragada, Sambalpur, Debagada, Anugola, Dhenkanal, Kendujhar, Mayurbhanj, Subarnapur, Boudh, Nuapada, Balangir, Kandhamal, Rayagada, Koraput, Gajapati and Ganjam.
Wind-Gust of 30-40 kmph also likely along with lightning.

Forecast for October 7: Rain and thunderstorm is predicted in Sundargada, Jharsuguda, Kendujhar, Mayurbhanj, Kalahandi, Nabarangpur, Rayagada, Koraput and Malkangiri. Red Warning has been issued in all of these districts.
Forecast for October 8: Parts of the state such as Baleshwar, Bhadrak, Jajpur, Kendrapada, Jagatsinghpur, Kataka, Sundargada, Jharsuguda, Baragada, Sambalpur, Debagada, Anugola, Dhenkanal, Kendujhar and Mayurbhanj are expected to receive rain and thunderstorms. Some southern districts will also get rainfall and rain is predicted in Puri, Khordha and Nayagada as well.
Forecast for 9 october: Rain likely at one or two places in Baleshwar, Bhadrak, Kendrapada, Sundargada, Kendujhar and Mayurbhanj . The rainfall activity will probably slow down after the 9th October.
