School staff suspended after student alleges sexual assault in washroom in Ahmedabad

Ahmedabad: A school housekeeping staff has been reportedly suspended and detained after parents of a primary school student alleges sexual assault in washroom in Ahmedabad, Gujarat.

This incident came to light when the student told the behaviour of the staff to his parents after coming back home from the school.

Following the complaint, the parents of the student immediately took the initiative to approach the school management and tell them about the incident.

After the school management received the complaint, it reportedly suspended the accused staff member with immediate effect and informed both the police and the education department.

According to the reports, police have arrested the accused person and launched an investigation into the matter.

Further investigation into this matter is underway.
