Two women critically injured in separate wild elephant attacks in Hindol

Dhenkanal: Two women are seriously injured in separate elephant attacks in Odisha’s Dhenkanal district.

The two injured women have been admitted to Hindol Community Health Centre for treatment.

As per sources, one elephant attack was reported from the Dandiri Section under Hindol forest range, where a mentally challenged woman was reportedly attacked by a tusker while walking on a road in forest area.

Another woman identified as 58-year-old Gopa Bhoi of Balsara village under Hatura Panchyat in Karnapur beat under Hindol forest range, was also injured by an elephant in the same forest range.

Both have been rescued and admitted to Hindol hospital, where they are undergoing treatment.
