Keonjhar man beats wife to death over domestic dispute

Keonjhar: Domestic dispute turned tragic as a man reportedly beat his wife to death at Jamudiha village under Keonjhar Town Police Station limits.

One Baid Juang had a long-standing dispute with his wife Rukmani Juang. However, it turned ugly on Sunday when he allegedly attacked Rukmani with a wooden stick in a fit of rage.

As Rukmani suffered severe injuries after being beaten up, her family members with the help of local rushed her to a nearby hospital for treatment. However, doctors who received her at the hospital declared Rukmani dead on arrival.

A team of cops from the Town Police station reached the village after getting information and sent Rukmani’s body for post-mortem after seizing it. Police also arrested Baid Juang and forwarded him to the court.
