Varun Dhawan’s ‘Hai Jawani Toh Ishq Hona Hai’ Box Office Collection Day 1

Mumbai: Varun Dhawan starrer ‘Hai Jawani Toh Ishq Hona Hai’ has successfully completed its first day with a solid start of Rs. 11 crore.

According to Sacnilk reports, the Bollywood film has earned a total of Rs 7.50 crore net in India across 9,081 shows.

Coming to the oversea gross collection, it has collected Rs 2 crore and in India, the gross stands at Rs 9 crore. Combining them both, the worldwide gross has reached a total of Rs 11 crore so far.

Comparing the occupancy according to regions, the highly recorded cities includes Chennai recorded the highest occupancy at 40.3%, with night shows touching 70%. Hyderabad followed with 28.8%, while Jaipur registered 25.3%. Mumbai and Bengaluru both recorded 23% occupancy, and Lucknow stood at 21%.

Coming to the weakest occupancy, Surat had just 9.5% occupancy. Chandigarh recorded 12.3%, while Bhopal managed 13.5%. NCR had the highest number of shows at 1,054 but occupancy remained at 15%.

The film is directed by David Dhawan and features cast like Varun Dhawan, Mrunal Thakur, Pooja Hegde and Mouni Roy.
