Woman, 3-year-old daughter crushed after speeding truck hits bike in Gujarat

Surat: A tragic incident took place in which a woman and her three-year-old daughter were crushed after a speeding truck hits bike in Surat, Gujarat.

The incident took place when the woman was returning back from her parental home to in-laws after celebrating Muharram. It is being said that the victim woman’s brother was riding the back and two young girls were sitting on the same bike along with the woman.

When the speeding truck which lost its control hit the bike, the people on the bike got threw away on the road. The toddler and the woman reportedly got crushed under the truck’s wheels and died on the spot.

However, the brother and another toddler managed to survive the tragic incident.

The victims of the incident are identified as Rukshana Imran Sayyed, and her three year old daughter who got crushed. The ones who survived it are identified as Rukshana’s brother and four-year-old daughter.

As per reports, the local people on the spot said that the truck driver was drunk when the incident occurred. The claim has not be confirmed yet.

Following the incident, the police rushed to the spot, arrested the truck driver and launched legal proceedings as per the need.

A case has been registered against the truck driver for this matter.

Further investigation into this matter is underway.
