BJD appoints Manas Mangaraj as party’s Parliamentary party leader in Rajya Sabha, watch

Bhubaneswar: Manas Ranjan Mangaraj has been named leader of the BJD Parliamentary Party in the Rajya Sabha. Similarly, Sulata Deo has been appointed Deputy Leader and Chief Whip of the party in the Upper House.

In a letter Biju Janata Dal (BJD) President Naveen Patnaik today informed the Chairman of Rajya Sabha wherein he requested that due official recognition may kindly be given to the newly appointed leaders of Biju Janata Dal in Rajya Sabha.

It is to be noted that recently BJD leader and Rajya Sabha MP Sasmit Patra had resigned from the post of the party’s parliamentary leader in the Rajya Sabha, and party president Naveen Patnaik accepted his resignation.
