Chandrika Hembram death case: Bhimsen Tudu seeks bail in High Court, watch

Bhubaneswar: Bhimsen Tudu who has been arrested in the case of the death of medical student Chandrika Hembram has applied to the High Court for a bail.

Last time his bail application had been dismissed by Additional District Judge at Cuttack on July 1. After this, he went to High Court.

As per reports, Police had recovered Chandrika’s body from under Trisulia bridge at Cuttack on June 4.

Her family had filed a complaint with the Baranga Police station alleging mental harassment by Bhimsen.

On this, Baranga Police arrested him on June 13 and produced him in the court.

Bhimsen had recently been recruited into the Odisha Taxation and Accounts Service and had been undergoing training at the time of the incident.

Odisha government had suspended him from his service on June 27.
