The La Guaira region of Venezuela’s coastline is where the majority of the damage took place; many buildings were levelled.
Much of the electrical supply has been returned to La Guaira, with many schools remaining closed, and several refugee camps continuing to give shelter to victims.
Official estimates state that rescue attempts will continue until it is completely clear that not one individual has been rescued.
