Baliguda: The district administration has completely banned DJ music during the upcoming Durga Puja celebrations and idol immersion processions in Baliguda subdivision of Kandhamal.
In a move to maintain peace and public safety, Baliguda Sub-Collector Pranita Das has also directed authorities to take action against reckless bikers who ride at high speeds while producing excessive and distorted noise. She has called for the removal of modified silencers from motorcycles to curb noise pollution and prevent traffic disturbances.
The decisions were taken at a preparatory meeting for the upcoming Sharadiya Durga Puja celebrations, held in the conference hall of the Baliguda Sub-Collector’s office under the chairpersonship of Pranita Das.
