Third flood wave in Baitarani leaves 32 villages inundated in Chandbali

Chandbali: This is the third wave of flooding in the river Baitarani and the position in Chandbali is growing from bad to worst.
Thirty-two villages under four panchayats of the district have been flood affected.
The four panchayats, which have been terribly affected, are-Aradi, Nandapur, Sundarpur and Olaga and vast tracts still submerged.
Thousands of acres of crop lands has also been submerged and farmers are worried about crop loss.
The route connecting Aradi and Kuakhia is now completely cut off due to floodwaters inundating the connecting road.

Nearly four feet of floodwaters is flowing over the Bodaka part of Aradi-Kuakhia road.
The communication is completely stopped.
More village people are in trouble as the water level is increasing slowly, a local told Odiash Media.
However, the district administration is continuously watching the situation as the Baitarani is in the state of its third flood wave and inundating other regions as well.
