Bhubaneswar: Following continuous rainfall, Odisha’s Bhadrak district administration have declared one-day holiday in all government-aided schools, private schools and Anganwadi centres in the district on Tuesday.
The order was issued by Bhadrak District Collector and District Magistrate Dillip Routray following the low pressure system that has been triggering a spell of continuous downpour in the district.
The district has been under constant deluge for the last two days with roads in all blocks of the district submerged and many areas facing waterlogging.
All the educational institutions have been requested to remain closed today in order to prevent the students and other staff members from facing any inconvenience due to the heavy rain.
