Minor boy stripped and assaulted in Kataka, video goes viral

Kataka: In a shocking and shameful incident, a minor boy was reportedly stripped and assaulted in the Chauliaganj of Kataka city, video of which has reportedly gone viral.
In the viral video, a group of youths can be seen stripping the minor boy and assaulting him by scolding him. One of them even was seen thrashing the boy with a bamboo stick while the victim was pleading with folded hands to let him go.
The viral video is expected to have been recorded by the assailants themselves.
The matter came to light only after the video became viral in the area. Following this, the boy’s family lodged a complaint at the Chauliaganj Police station seeking an investigation into the matter.

The family members, meanwhile, claimed that the boy was stripped and assaulted because of past enmity.
Based on the complaint, police initiated an investigation into the matter. However, it is yet to be known when, where and for what the boy stripped and assaulted.
