YouTuber banned from Six Flags after smuggling McNuggets onto 93 MPH rollercoaster
by Rob Beschizza · Boing BoingA YouTuber stuffed a box of chicken McNuggets down his pants, smuggled them onto a roller coaster, then filmed himself eating them as the train climbed and dropped at up to 93 MPH. Six Flags banned Allen Ferrell for life after his video of the stunt went viral, reports Fox 8 News, noting that he had failed to comply with the park's policies against loose articles.
Ferrell, a content creator from Michigan, rode Cedar Point's Millennium Force in Sandusky, Ohio; the "10-piece challenge" was sent in by a follower. The video, titled Trying To Eat 10 Nuggets On A Rollercoaster, shows him dipping nuggets in sweet-and-sour sauce as the ride rossed him and the food around. He sat in the back row, he said, so no one else got hit. He successfully consumed seven of 10.
Cedar Point spokesperson Tony Clark said Ferrell violated the park's code of conduct and reiterated that food presented a choking hazard on the ride. The ban covers all the Six Flags parks. Ferrell, who has 1.86 million subscribers and uses the catchphrase "what is wrong with you" when taking dares, said the park had even raised the specter of charges before settling on the ban. "I understand," he told Fox 8, while adding that for him "it was a really fun challenge." It was not his first coaster meal; a 2023 clip of him eating a McDonald's burger mid-ride drew 5.1 million views.
