Explore Felix Baßler’s final exhibition as part of BangaloREsidency 2024. His artworks raise questions about the depth of his relationships with the people he encountered during his residency. Using the analogue slitscan process—a technique that stretches and abstracts time within a single frame—he blurred the lines between abstraction and representation. He strikes a balance between preserving the anonymity of the photographed individuals and capturing their intricate details in a playful manner, aiming to avoid objectification.
