Young athletes shine at Inter-School Zonal level competition in Doda
by GK NEWS SERVICE · Greater KashmirDoda, May 3: The Inter-School Zonal Level Competition 2025-26 for U-14 boys entered its third day with a spirited display of sporting talent at Ghat in Doda district, where 47 students from remote schools competed in a range of indoor and physical disciplines, including Carrom, Chess, Badminton, Yoga, and Wrestling.
As per an official statement, the event was meticulously supervised by Zonal Physical Education Officer Ghat Surinder Kumar, ensuring its smooth and successful execution.
The dedication and hard work of the field staff of Zone Ghat were instrumental in the success of the event. Their commitment and efforts ensured a well-organised and competitive environment, allowing the young athletes to perform at their best. Pritam Singh expressed satisfaction with the proceedings, emphasising the importance of such events in nurturing young talent and promoting a healthy sporting culture among the youth. Surinder Kumar also lauded the participants for their spirited performances and commended the staff for the seamless execution of the competition.
