KPDCL announces power shutdown

Srinagar, Dec 16: The Kashmir Power Distribution Corporation Limited (KPDCL) on Tuesday said that electricity supply in areas falling under 33 KV Arampora Handwara Hotline and 33 KV Wanpoh Qaimoh line will remain affected due to some maintenance works on December 18, 2025.

According to Chief Engineer, Distribution, KPDCL, the shutdown of 33 KV Arampora Handwara Hotline and 33 KV Wanpoh Qaimoh line will be observed, due to which power supply to Handwara Town, Chogul, Pohrupeth, Kulangam, Maratgam, Qaimoh, Rampora, Matalhama, Rahpora, Redwani, Kujjar, Nowbal and adjoining areas will be affected from 09:30 AM to 03:00 PM on 18 December, 2025.
