In February, Yakuza fans will return to Hawaii once more for the Like a Dragon: Pirate Yakuza in Hawaii achievements! Ryu Ga Gotoku Studio and Sega have announced Like a Dragon: Pirate Yakuza in Hawaii for Xbox, which could be the wildest entry into the series yet.

Like a Dragon: Pirate Yakuza in Hawaii gets a February Xbox release date

Unveiled during RGG Summit 2024, Like a Dragon: Pirate Yakuza in Hawaii launches for Xbox Series X|S and Xbox One on February 28, 2025. The new entry into the series is an action-adventure game with real-time combat featuring fan-favorite Goro Majima as the sole protagonist.

"Goro Majima, a notorious ex-yakuza suddenly finds himself shipwrecked on a remote island in the Pacific," reads the game's synopsis. "Unable to remember even his own name, he sets sail in search of clues to his lost memories, accompanied by a boy named Noah who saved his life. Before long, they’re caught up in a conflict between cutthroat criminals, modern-day pirates, and other scoundrels over a legendary treasure."

You will also "assemble a one-of-a-kind crew while upgrading your ship as you explore the open sea and forge your legend in the cannon fire of foes, unexpected friendships, and immense riches made along the way." Pirate Yakuza in Hawaii features real-time ship combat, where you will need to maneuver into position to "deliver devastating damage to board the enemy ship and take down the captain in all-out crew vs. crew brawls."

RGG Studio's previous entry into the Like a Dragon series, Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth, is one of the best Xbox RPGs out there and is well worth checking out if you haven't done so already.
