Pulsar 125cc range includes Pulsar 125, Pulsar N125 and Pulsar NS125. Recent reports indicate that dealer dispatches for Pulsar N125 have been stopped. It is possible that the bike may be discontinued, even though the bike is currently listed on the website.
Bajaj Pulsar N125 discontinued or new model / replacement planned?
Until an official announcement is made, it is difficult to determine the future status of Pulsar N125. The bike was originally launched in October 2024 at a starting price of Rs 95,000. Pulsar N125 is positioned as a sportier option in the 125cc segment, taking on rivals like the Hero Xtreme 125R and Honda CB125 Hornet. Bajaj had earlier announced that it will be launching 8 new bikes in 2026. It will be interesting to see if Pulsar N125 gets a replacement or an updated version.
Pulsar N125 has a sharp design, targeted at the young at heart. It has exciting colour options and sporty graphics. Key features include an aggressive headlamp design, sharp body panelling, split seats and an underbelly exhaust. Pulsar N125 also gets rim stickers, which further enhance its sporty presence. The sharp design is also functionally relevant, as it enables swift manoeuvring through city streets.
Pulsar N125 has been specially designed keeping in mind the needs of performance enthusiasts. The bike weighs just 125 kg, which enables best-in-class power to weight ratio. It claims to have the fastest 0 to 60 km/h in the 125cc segment. Pulsar N125 has a 124.59cc engine that generates 12 PS and 11 Nm of peak torque. It is paired with a 5-speed transmission.
Tech package for Bajaj Pulsar N125 includes a Bluetooth connected digital console. Users can access functions like call accept or reject, missed call alerts and message notifications. The console also displays fuel and economy readouts. For a more seamless ride experience, the bike is equipped with a USB charging port.
Pulsar N125 vs. rivals
Since Pulsar 125cc range contributes close to 1/3rd to the company’s overall monthly sales, it is imperative that this lineup is prioritized for receiving updates and new models. Pulsar N125 competes with rivals like Hero Xtreme 125R and Honda CB125 Hornet. Xtreme 125R is a popular option in this space, as evident with close to 20k sales recorded in April 2026. The bike had registered double digit YoY growth of 65.70% in April 2026.
Honda also has a strong presence in the 125cc segment with bikes like Shine 125 and SP125. Taken together, these are the highest selling 125cc bikes in the country. Hornet 125 is relatively low in sales, with a contribution of less than 1% to the brand’s monthly volumes. TVS Raider 125 is another popular option in this space. Sales in May 2026 were close to 35k, contributing over 9% to the brand’s monthly volumes.
