Top 10 Motorcycles Aug 2026 – Splendor, Shine, Pulsar, Apache, Classic 350, Raider, Unicorn

In earlier post, we discussed the top 10 two wheelers for Aug 2026. Now, let us take a look at India’s top 10 selling motorcycles in Aug 2026. Top 10 motorcycles recorded combined sales of 9,27,578 units in August 2026, up 5.18% from 8,81,874 units a year earlier. Volumes increased by 45,704 units, with seven of the ten nameplates registering growth.
Top 10 Motorcycles Aug 2026
Hero Splendor sold 3,53,842 units, growing 13.52% over 3,11,698 units in August 2025. Its increase of 42,144 units was the largest absolute gain on the list. Splendor alone contributed 38.15% of top 10 volumes. Honda Shine followed with 1,80,626 units, up 10.16% from 1,63,963 units. Splendor and Shine together sold 5,34,468 units, accounting for 57.62% of the top 10 total.
Bajaj Pulsar ranked third with 97,839 units, declining 10.55% from 1,09,382 units. Hero HF Deluxe also recorded a decline, falling 22.25% to 69,794 units. Its loss of 19,968 units was the largest absolute drop among the ten models.
Apache Leads Percentage Growth
TVS Apache secured fifth position with 55,123 units, up 22.39% from 45,038 units. This was the highest percentage growth among the top 10, adding 10,085 units to its year-earlier tally. Royal Enfield Classic 350 followed with 43,428 units, registering 20.55% growth. TVS Raider ranked seventh at 37,002 units, up 10.67%, while Honda CB Unicorn grew 20.91% to 35,394 units.

Royal Enfield Bullet 350 recorded 27,533 units, an increase of 13.83%. Combined Classic 350 and Bullet 350 volumes reached 70,961 units, with both models posting healthy annual growth. Bajaj Platina completed the list with 26,997 units, down 30.97% from 39,110 units. It registered the steepest percentage decline, while both Bajaj nameplates in the top 10 finished below their August 2025 levels.
Domestic Motorcycle Sales Grow 2.39%
Overall domestic motorcycle sales stood at 11,33,047 units, up 2.39% from 11,06,638 units in August 2025. Compared with July 2026’s 10,74,796 units, sales increased 5.42%. The top 10 therefore grew faster than the wider domestic market. Motorcycles outside this group collectively recorded 2,05,469 units, compared with 2,24,764 units a year earlier. Their decline partly offset the gains made by the leading nameplates.
Exports Drive Overall Volume Growth
Motorcycle exports increased 33.43% to 4,86,325 units, compared with 3,64,487 units in August 2025. Sequential growth was more modest at 1.31% over July’s 4,80,013 units. Combined domestic sales and exports reached 16,19,372 units, growing 10.08% YoY and 4.15% MoM. Exports accounted for 30.03% of total motorcycle volumes and approximately 82% of the net annual increase.
