New Revolt RVX Launch Price Rs 1.3 Lakh – 3.2 kWh Removable Battery, 160 km Range

Revolt Motors has just launched a new electric motorcycle to their portfolio. Called Revolt RVX, this new electric motorcycle comes with similar design ethos as other Revolt bikes, but has new powertrain and driving components along with removable batteries, which should make it more versatile for prospective buyers.

In terms of pricing, new Revolt RVX electric motorcycle has been launched for an introductory price tag of Rs 1.3 lakh (Ex-sh, without PM E-Drive Incentives). The target demographic of Revolt RVX is younger audience and first-time motorcycle buyers (irrespective of ICE or EV). There are three colours – Pearl Black, Eclipse Red and Electric Blue.

Where design is concerned, the just launched Revolt RVX looks almost identical to other revolt models in the lineup like RV400 and RV400 BRZ. There is a more affordable motorcycle form factor with Revolt which is shared between RV BlazeX, RV1+ and RV1.

Projector LED headlights, LED DRLs, LED tail lights and LED turn indicators, fairing on the battery and motor element, single-piece stepped seat, single-piece rear grab handle, Silver finish USD front forks, rear mono-shock setup, 3.5-inch colour LCD instrument cluster, Bluetooth connectivity, telematics and OTA updates are shared with RV400.

Removable Batteries Like RV400

Just like RV400, Revolt RVX gets a removable battery pack for added versatility and convenience. It has 3.2 kWh of capacity and has NMC battery chemistry. Claimed range with this battery pack is 160 km (IDC certified) and with the help of fast charging, one can replenish this battery from 0-80% SOC in 80 minutes.

Drawing juice from this battery is a single mid-mounted electric motor driving the rear wheels via a chain drive system. This motor boasts 4 kW rated power (5.36 bhp) and then 5.3 kW of peak power (7.1 bhp). Revolt Motors is claiming torque figures of 230 Nm at the rear wheel and 0-40 km/h sprint in 3.9 seconds and a top speed of 90 km/h.

There are three riding modes – Eco, Normal and Sport. On top of these three riding modes, there is a Boost mode too, which can be turned on via mode selector unlocking all the performance from this powertrain for short bursts, depending on the set parameters. Revolt RVX can be purchased from 200 dealerships across India and it directly rivals similarly priced Oben Rorr Evo.
