New Gen Bajaj Pulsar 150 Spied Undisguised – Colour Screen, Mono-Shock, Oil Cooling

There is a recurring pattern with Bajaj Auto of new and updated vehicles reaching or selling without a formal announcement or launch. Same was the case with the recently spied next gen Classic Pulsar 125 as it reached showrooms before launch. Now, it is the turn of new gen Pulsar 150 as units have reached dealerships before a formal launch.

New Gen Bajaj Pulsar 150 Spied

Pulsar 150 has been one of the, if not, the most popular premium and sporty commuter / street bike on sale in India. It has been a constant volume generator for Bajaj and keeping it updated is paramount for Bajaj. The company did just that in January 2026 by launching a major update to this motorcycle and Classic Pulsar lineup in general.

Just half a year after that update, Bajaj is now coming up with new gen Classic Pulsar lineup. New gen Pulsar 150 has now reached showrooms ahead of a formal launch. We can see a major departure in terms of the underpinnings and the fascia, while still fitting into the ethos and philosophy of Pulsar 150.

The new gen model comes with a revised fascia with new LED headlights, LED DRLs and for the first time in two decades, new LED tail lights. Fuel tank looks similar to current gen mode and we’re not complaining as it looks muscular and can hold 15L worth of fuel, which is more than dedicated Adventure Tourers these days.

There are new tank shrouds, though. We can see a new chassis and subframe with the new gen Pulsar 150 and some of it is exposed as a part of the bike’s overall design. Exhaust end can is also revised for the first time in two decades. Clip-on handlebars, centre-set footpegs and upright riding posture are likely to be carried forward.

New Colour LCD Cluster

Front suspension is still RSU telescopic units. Rear suspension is completely overhauled from a twin-shocker setup to a mono-shock setup, for the first time with a Classic Pulsar. This should make the platform significantly more agile and fun-to-ride. The same squarish LCD colour instrument cluster with turn-by-turn navigation and gear position indicator as new Pulsar 125 can be seen with new Pulsar 150 as well.

It has to be noted that the particular variant seen in these pictures might be a base variant. It misses out on LED turn indicators, split seat, split grab rail, belly cowl, rear disc brake and dual-channel ABS, all of which might be part of the ‘Dual Disc’ variant when the launch has happened. USB charging port is also likely to be offered.

In terms of powertrains, Bajaj Auto has updated the engine of new gen Pulsar 150 to include oil-cooling setup with a radiator up front. It even features a OIL-COOLED sticker now. It used to be an air-cooled unit with 149.5cc displacement, 14 PS of peak power and 13.25 Nm of peak torque. Gearbox is likely to be the same 5-speed unit, as OEMs are not trying the formula of Suzuki GS150R which had a 6-speed gearbox.
