The 350cc to 450cc motorcycle segment in India witnessed strong growth in April 2026, driven largely by Royal Enfield’s continued dominance along with rising demand for Honda and Triumph motorcycles. Total sales in this segment stood at 1,19,022 units, registering a healthy 42.04% YoY growth over 83,793 units sold in April 2025. Month-on-month (MoM) sales also remained positive with a marginal 0.81% increase over 1,18,060 units sold in March 2026.
350cc to 450cc Motorcycle Sales April 2026
Royal Enfield continued to dominate this segment with multiple models occupying the top positions. Classic 350 remained the highest-selling motorcycle in the category with 37,967 units sold in April 2026. Sales were up 41.66% YoY from 26,801 units sold in April last year. The Classic alone accounted for 31.90% share of the segment.
Bullet 350 followed with 25,040 units, registering 51.86% YoY growth. Hunter 350 secured third position with 21,947 units, up 21.19% YoY. Meteor 350 also posted healthy growth with 10,060 units sold, a 31.61% increase over last year. Guerrilla 450 recorded the highest growth rate for the brand. Sales stood at 2,474 units, up 168.91% YoY from 920 units sold in April 2025. Himalayan too posted positive growth with 1,941 units sold, up 13.18%.
Honda 350s Register Triple-Digit Growth
Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India also witnessed strong growth in this segment. CB350 recorded 3,975 units in sales, up 113.37% YoY from 1,863 units sold last year. H’ness CB350 also more than doubled its sales with 2,105 units, registering 129.55% YoY growth.
Triumph’s newly introduced 350cc range also posted impressive numbers. Triumph 350 recorded 3,965 units in April 2026. Since the downsized 350cc range was introduced only recently, there are no YoY comparison figures available. On the other hand, Triumph 400 sales saw a sharp decline of 96.82% YoY to just 110 units. This is primarily because the older 400cc lineup has now largely transitioned to the newer 350cc range.
Harley X440, Jawa-Yezdi-BSA Continue Positive Momentum
Jawa, Yezdi and BSA retail sales stood at 4,520 units in April 2026, up 82.48% YoY. Harley-Davidson X440 also posted strong growth with 1,505 units sold, registering 129.07% YoY growth. Bajaj Pulsar 350/400 range recorded 997 units while Dominar 350/400 posted 818 units. Both models witnessed healthy YoY growth of 94.35% and 77.06% respectively. Among premium performance motorcycles, KTM 390 sales dropped sharply by 56.82% YoY to 633 units. Aprilia RS457 posted positive growth with 233 units sold while Tuono 457 declined to 27 units.
OEM Wise Performance
Royal Enfield continued to dominate the 350cc-450cc motorcycle segment in April 2026 with sales of 99,429 units and a massive 83.54% market share. The brand registered a healthy 38.72% YoY growth, driven by strong demand for Classic 350, Bullet 350 and Hunter 350. Despite growing competition, Royal Enfield still enjoys an overwhelming lead in this segment and remains the benchmark for mid-capacity retro motorcycles in India.
Bajaj Auto group brands including Triumph, KTM and Husqvarna secured the second spot with combined sales of 7,228 units. While KTM sales remained under pressure, newly introduced Triumph 350 motorcycles helped support volumes. Honda emerged as one of the strongest gainers with 118.71% YoY growth to 6,080 units, indicating rising acceptance for the CB350 and H’ness lineup. Jawa / Yezdi / BSA also posted strong growth of 82.48%, while Harley-Davidson X440 continued gaining traction with 129.07% YoY growth. Overall, the segment expanded by 42.04% YoY, highlighting strong demand for premium motorcycles in India, especially in the retro and lifestyle categories.
