'Cosy' £5 Primark ear muffs almost identical to £90 UGG version

Primark's latest offering, a new pair of earmuffs, is causing quite the stir for looking much like a designer brand's version. The bargain retailer, known for its budget-friendly fashion and homeware items, might be onto a winner with its Paula Echevarría Faux Suede Fluffy Earmuffs, which closely resemble those from luxury label UGG, but come at a significantly lower price.

While Primark's shoppers can get their hands on the winter accessory for just £5, the similar UGG Women's Sheepskin Embroidery Earmuffs are selling online for £90. Both earmuffs feature a strikingly similar colour scheme and faux-fur detail, but the Primark ones are notably more fluffy, while the UGG version boasts real sheepskin and the brand's distinctive logo on each ear.

In describing their earmuffs, Primark says: "These earmuffs effortlessly blend cosy comfort with chic style, drawing inspiration from the timeless aesthetics of the Primark Presents Paula Echevarría collection! UGG's Women's Sheepskin Embroidery Earmuffs are retailing at £90, whereas the similar product from Primark is available for a mere £5, offering shoppers a potential saving of £85 if they choose the high street option. The Primark earmuffs can be picked up in stores now.
