Merseyside Police are urgently requesting public assistance to locate 44-year-old Adam Skindzier and his six-month-old son, Nathan, who are missing from their home. The father and his baby were last spotted on Friday, October 4 around 4pm.

Adam, of Polish nationality, may be travelling in a black Mercedes. He is described as a large-built white male, about 6ft 1in tall, with short brown hair greying at the sides, blue eyes, and a Polish accent.

A Merseyside Police spokesperson said: "Extensive enquiries are ongoing to locate Adam and Nathan. Police officers are making extensive efforts to find Adam and his child and return them home safely and would urge Adam, or anyone who knows where he is, to call police on the 101 number quoting log 342 of 4 October."

Their disappearance comes amid a major search for missing mum Victoria Taylor, who was last seen on CCTV footage taken at a BP garage in Malton, North Yorkshire. The 34-year-old woman was captured there, buying a soft drink, dressed in an Adidas puffa jacket and a camouflage print cap.

On Thursday, police divers continued to scour the River Derwent in kayaks after it emerged that some of Victoria's belongings were found close to the river bank. North Yorkshire Police say a range of enquiries are ongoing to try and locate Victoria, with the focus of activity being in the Malton/Norton area.

"We are very concerned about Victoria's whereabouts and, like her family and friends, just want to see her safe and well," Inspector Martin Dennison from North Yorkshire Police said. Locals and relatives have since spoken out about the 'popular' mum-of-one, who is described as being white and approximately 5ft six inches tall.
