ITV The Chase fans beg Bradley Walsh to 'stop' annoying habit
The Chase viewers have had enough of host Bradley Walsh as they spotted a habit of his during the latest episode of the ITV quiz show. They took to social media to share their thoughts
by George Allen, Gemma Jones · NottinghamshireLiveFans of The Chase voiced their displeasure with host Bradley Walsh's habit during a new episode aired on ITV this evening (September 25). The enthusiastic presenter irked some viewers who urged him to "stop" as they observed a repeated behaviour.
Walsh, 64, enthusiastically welcomed four fresh contestants: Lauren from Canada, Marvin from Stourbridge, Jodie from Nottingham, and Adrian from Newark-on-Trent. They worked together, answering general knowledge questions to build up their cash pot against Darragh Ennis, known as 'The Menace'.
Despite the fast-paced quiz, Walsh shared his thoughts and what he believed were the correct answers, annoying viewers who took to social media urging him to "stick to hosting". On Twitter, feedback was clear, with one viewer posting: "Stop pretending you know the answers Bradley when you obviously don't #TheChase."
Another expressed: "Wish Brad would stop sharing what he would've went with... he's always wrong too #TheChase," while a third commented: "#TheChase Brad should stick to hosting, not guessing, wrongly. [Facepalm emoji]."
Yet another tweet read: "Again, Brad, this is why you're the host and not a contestant. #TheChase.", reports the Express.
Yesterday, viewers of the ITV quiz show were taken aback to spot an 'Emmerdale star' on their screens. As Bradley Walsh introduced four new contestants on a fresh episode of the popular tea-time programme, fans at home were convinced that one of the participants bore a striking resemblance to a familiar face from Emmerdale.
They quickly took to social media, with one viewer posting on Twitter: "The first guy reminds me of doctor Liam on Emmerdale #thechase."
Another chimed in with encouragement: "Cmon seat one," accompanied by an image of the soap's fictional doctor. Despite the excitement, Chris, the contestant in question, didn't fare well in the quizzing arena and was caught by the Chaser, leaving the show without a prize.
