The guest list will be limited as only immediate family members and the couple’s closest friends will attend the wedding.
Insiders noted that the couple wanted to avoid the optics of a lavish wedding while the administration is managing significant international crises.
According to some circulating reports, Donald Trump Jr. and Bettina Anderson are reportedly shifting from a grander celebration because they were concerned about the optics of a lavish event while the nation is managing economic challenges.
As per sources, the couple also hoped to keep the all important details related to the wedding private to prevent media leak and maintain exclusivity. So the event remains secluded and exclusive, reducing the concerns related to security.
The details of the venue comes after President Donald Trump announced that there is no confirmation that he may or may not attend the elder son’s wedding.
Talking to the reporters at the White House on Thursday said, ““He’d like me to go. But it’s going to be just a small, little private affair, and I’m going to try and make it. I’m in the midst — I said, you know, this is not good timing for me. I have a thing called Iran and other things.”
The President also quipped, “If I do attend, I get killed. If I don’t attend, I get killed, by the fake news, of course.”
Donald Trump Jr., 48, and Bettina Anderson, 39, got engaged in December 2025 after the President announced their engagement at White House party. In April 2026, a bridal shower for Anderson was held at Mar-a-Lago which was attended by several members of the Trump family.
