Indiana Fever star Caitlin Clark lands historic NBA 2K27 cover
by By The News Digital · The News InternationalIndiana Fever star Caitlin Clark has become the first WNBA player to appear on a standalone global premium cover of the NBA 2K video game franchise.
NBA 2K announced on Wednesday that Clark will feature on the Deluxe Edition cover of NBA 2K27.

San Antonio Spurs star Victor Wembanyama will appear on the standard edition, while Chicago Bulls legend Derrick Rose will front the Ultra Edition.
Speaking after the announcement, Clark said: “Being on the cover of NBA 2K27 is special because this game reaches fans all over the world.”
“To be the first WNBA player on her own global cover means women’s basketball gets to show up on that stage too, and I am proud to be part of that.”
Clark's selection comes during a strong third WNBA season averaging career highs of 20.7 points, 7.8 assists and 3.9 rebounds per game, while earning her third consecutive All-Star selection.
Other WNBA stars, including A'ja Wilson, Angel Reese, Sabrina Ionescu, Sue Bird, Diana Taurasi and Candace Parker, have previously appeared on special or alternate NBA 2K covers. However, Clark is the first to receive her own global premium edition cover.
NBA 2K27 will launch worldwide on 4 September, with early access for Deluxe and Ultra Edition players beginning on 28 August.
