Honda CB300F Flex Fuel Bike Launched In India At Rs. 1.70 Lakh

Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India (HMSI) has officially launched the new CB300F flex-fuel, marking India’s first 300 cc flex-fuel motorcycle. Buyers can now reserve the 2024 Honda CB300F flex-fuel at Honda’s BigWing dealerships and it carries a price tag of Rs. 1.70 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). This comes as part of the brand’s global target to become carbon neutral by 2050.

The CB300F flex-fuel has arrived at a time when Honda has been heavily linked with kicking off the production of the Activa-based EV before the end of this year. As for the performance, the motorcycle features the familiar 293.52 cc, single-cylinder, oil-cooled, four-stroke, FI engine compliant with up to E85 fuel (85 per cent ethanol and 15 per cent gasoline).

It kicks out 24.54 hp of maximum power and 25.9 Nm of peak torque. The powertrain is linked with a six-speed transmission and it gets assist and slipper clutch as standard. The 2024 Honda CB300F flex-fuel has been made presented in a single variant and two paint schemes namely Sports Red and Mat Axis Grey Metallic. It will be across dealerships from the last week of October 2024.

Speaking on the new launch, Yogesh Mathur, Director, Sales and Marketing, Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India, said, “The Honda CB300F flex-fuel is a perfect fusion of modern technology and eco-consciousness, offering riders the freedom of flex-fuel option while ensuring the reliability and performance Honda is renowned for. The CB300F flex-fuel is equipped with disc brakes on both ends as a 276 mm disc at the front and a 220 mm disc features at the rear, complemented by dual-channel ABS and Honda’s torque control system as standard. As for the suspension, golden upside-down front forks and a five-step adjustable rear monoshock unit are utilised.

Additionally, the motorcycle features an all-LED lighting system. It also boasts an all-digital instrument console with five levels of customisable brightness and displays info such as a speedometer, odometer, tachometer, fuel gauge, twin trip meters, gear position indicator and a clock. Besides these, it also gains an ethanol indicator which glows in case the vehicle is filled with higher ethanol content gasoline of over 85 per cent.
