Nintendo Appears To Have Updated The Super Mario Logo
40 years and counting
by Liam Doolan · Nintendo LifeFollowing the recent conclusion of the Super Mario 40th anniversary, Nintendo has reportedly updated the series' logo and also released some new renders.
At a glance, you might not notice it, but if you look a little closer, you can see the logo has been given a 3D makeover. You can see this logo when you visit the official Nintendo 'Super Mario' webpage (thanks, Nintendo Everything).

In case you missed it, Nintendo recently shared a message on its Japanese website thanking fans for joining in on Mario's 40th anniversary celebration.
During this celebration, Nintendo released the Super Mario Galaxy Movie, Super Mario Galaxy 1 + 2, new amiibo, Mario Tennis Fever, DLC for Super Mario Bros. Wonder and Yoshi and the Mysterious Book. It also recently added Super Mario Sunshine to the 'Nintendo Classics' GameCube library.

new logo might take getting used to, but i always like when they update the ancient renders they've reused for forever (off the top of my head, i think they're based on nsmb u renders?)
Feel like the 3D look looks a bit on the cheaper / messier side seeing it next to the others, but taking it on its own I doubt I would even notice the difference so not super fussed about it.

Can't wait for the big 3D Mario game to be called "Super Mario" and will be a remake of SM64
