Nintendo Direct For Fire Emblem: Fortune's Weave Announced

Nintendo has announced a new Direct presentation focused on Fire Emblem: Fortunes Weave for the Switch 2. It will take place on Tuesday, 4th August 2026 at 3pm BST.

Here are the exact details for your region and timezone:

  • North America: 7am PDT / 8am MDT / 9am CDT / 10am EDT
  • UK/Ire: 3pm BST
  • Europe: 4pm CEST / 5pm EEST
  • Asia/Oceania: 11pm JST / 10pm AWST / 12am (Wed) AEST

The presentation will last "approximately 20 minutes" and will likely feature a deep dive on the new title's gameplay mechanics and features.

For now, that's all the information we have! Fortune's Weave will launch on 17th September 2026 exclusively for the Switch 2.

Absolutely watching it, as usual the Italian version live on my own and the next day the Japanese one on stream for my channel - can't wait to see and hear more about this game tomorrow and so looking forward to playing it myself next month as soon as my copy arrives (preordered the Dagdan Collection)!

Would like to know to what extent how selecting and recruiting characters works. If it's exactly how it was in Three Houses or there's new twist to it.
This is the game I bought my Switch 2 for, September can't come soon enough.

@Oldstalk Beat me to telling @Pak-Man that yeah, unfortunately it's currently sold out even on the Italian Nintendo Store (and so most certainly Europe in general as usual) - fingers crossed it will be restocked and sooner rather than later so that those who missed it like you will be able to get it!

@Oldstalk as a Canadian doing a quick search online, Argos doesn't explicitly say Sold Out on the main page, but I'm not an expert on stores across the pond, sorry!

Finally something for me Nintendo. Haven't touched my Switch 2 since MP4... I don't regret buying it but so far but... just hope this end of year makes it finally worth it with this and ocarina remake.

Not interested in Fire Emblem so I'm skipping this one
