ColorOS 15, built on Android 15, will bring a variety of new features. These include cross-device notification syncing, improvements in privacy through private spaces, and better multitasking on larger screens. Android 15 (AOSP) will arrive by mid-October. The release timeline for ColorOS 15 will likely come at the Oppo Developer Conference (ODC).

While many older models will be updated, the Oppo Find X8 series is the ideal showcase for ColorOS 15. This series will feature Apple-inspired elements like Oppo’s version of a Camera Control button, a Dynamic Island-style interface, and a magnetic charging system.

Rumors suggest the Oppo Find X8 series will launch in October, possibly with ColorOS 15 included. However, ColorOS 15 may not be ready by then. In that case, the announcement would come first, with a release roadmap and list of eligible devices following soon after.

The release of ColorOS 15 is important for Realme and OnePlus devices as weel. OnePlus phones in China will run ColorOS. Realme, on other hand, runs Realme UI. However, it still very tied to ColorOS in many aspects. So the next update will determine the path for various phones and for all ColorOS variations.
