Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra dummy-leak reveals its design
by Efe Udin · GizchinaSouth Korean manufacturer, Samsung, usually releases its new flagship Galaxy S series towards the end of January. As the weeks run down to the launch of the new Galaxy S25 series, there are several rumours and speculations regarding this series. A new leak of a dummy model of the Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra has given us a clue as to what this device offers in terms of design. The leak, based on CAD data suggests that the Ultra model would take cues from its smaller siblings.
From the photograph, the Galaxy S25 Ultra appears to feature a flat front and back, accompanied by a metallic frame. This design is different from older iterations as this arrangement prioritizes user-friendly curves over striking aesthetics. Additionally, the smoother corner edges will replace the angular design of earlier Ultra models.

Farewell to Note Roots
In recent years, the Ultra series kept the design spirit of the Galaxy Note. With Samsung shifting to foldable phones, that era ended. The S25 Ultra fully leaves that past behind, focusing instead on a unified design with the rest of the S25 line. While the leaked dummy units don’t show much about specs, the camera module stands out. The device features four round lenses and laser autofocus. According to reports, Samsung might use an “All Lenses on Prism” technology for its Zoom system. This setup could improve photo quality and zoom options.
Under the hood, the Galaxy S25 Ultra will likely include the new Snapdragon 8 Elite chip by Qualcomm, custom-built for Samsung. This chip can reach speeds up to 4.47 GHz, promising top-tier performance. Samsung will officially reveal the Galaxy S25 Ultra and its smaller versions on 22 January 2025 in San Francisco. Fans can expect updates on its full features and pricing during the event. The Galaxy S25 Ultra blends a refined design with high-end power. Its departure from past styles might feel fresh to some, though fans of the old Note look may feel mixed. Either way, it seems ready to stand out as a leader in Samsung’s flagship lineup.
