Meghan Markle has delayed her new Netflix show in the wake of the fires breaking out across Los Angeles.

So far the first have taken 16 lives with several people missing while the vast majority fled in response to mandatory evacuation orders.

The streaming giant confirmed that the Duchess of Sussex had requested that With Love be moved from a previously announced January 15 premiere date out of sensitivity for the victims of the wildfires that are burning through Los Angeles.

On the postponement of the show, Meghan said: “I’m thankful to my partners at Netflix for supporting me in delaying the launch as we focus on the needs of those impacted by the wildfires in my home state of California.”

The show will now debut March 4.

With Love, Meghan is described as “a heartfelt tribute to the beauty of Southern California”.

Markle produces the show, which “blends practical how-to’s and candid conversation with friends, new and old.”

She also shares personal tips and tricks for cooking, gardening and more. Special guests include Guests include Roy Choi, Mindy Kaling and Alice Waters.

Eight episodes of the series have been ordered. The series is part of a five-year, $100 million deal that Netflix inked with the couple in 2020.

With Love, Meghan was shot in Montecito, California, where Markle lives with her husband, Prince Harry, about 80 miles north of Los Angeles.

The news comes as Meghan Markle has been accused of being a “morally repulsive” disaster tourist amid the California wildfires ravaging Los Angeles, by Family Ties actress Justine Bateman.

Batemen vented her anger after Meghan and her husband Prince Harry visited areas devastated by the fires raging across Los Angeles.

Bateman claimed the Duke and Duchess of Sussex of using the Palisades Fire as a "photo op".

The wildfire relief efforts made by British expat Prince Harry and wife Meghan have fallen short, according to the enraged Hollywood actress-turned-producer.

The Family Ties had already voiced her disdain for Los Angeles Mayor Karen Bass' administration in the aftermath of the disastrous Southern California wildfires.

She slammed the Duke and Duchess of Sussex for what she believed to be an insensitive "photo op" at an evacuation center for victims.

"Meghan Markle and Harry are no better than ambulance chasers," an unsettled Bateman, 58, wrote to X, formerly Twitter, on Saturday evening.

"What a repulsive 'photo op' they achieved."

"They are ‘touring the damage’?" she asked, referring to media footage she had reposted on the social platform.

"Are they politicians now? They don't live here; they are tourists. Disaster Tourists."

Harry and Meghan arrived in Pasadena on Friday, mingling with the city's mayor, Victor Gordo.

The couple have opened their home to friends and family forced to evacuate and have also donated clothing, children's items and other essentials to help the affected community.

A plethora of users agreed with Bateman's assessment of the royals, applauding her honesty. Others have praised the couple for their philanthropy.

Bateman has continued her tirade against California officials and how they've handled the wildfires.

Speaking to Jesse Watters on Friday, Bateman, who lives in the Hollywood Hills, said she was "pretty p*****" with the state of her city.

She said: “If you're going to run a city, or run a state, you have to take care of the basics. And that's [to] make sure that your fire and police department[s] are well funded."

"If you're not doing everything you can to take care of those problems if they arise, then get out. You are useless to us," she declared.
