With the competition now down to just nine hopefuls, tensions soared with each contestant vying for a chance to dazzle at the upcoming Blackpool Week on Saturday, November 16.

Despite some competitors buckling under the mounting stress and others finding themselves moved by their own performances, Sarah Hadland and Vito Coppola were unfazed as they prepped for their American Smooth routine to Heather Small's Proud, a track synonymous with Hadland's character in the much-beloved series, Miranda.

Though typically seen in comedic roles, Hadland showed a different facet on the floor this evening, leaving fans emotionally invested as they watched the duo's stellar performance.

Overwhelmed viewers took to X, the platform formerly known as Twitter, flooding it with rapturous praise of the pair, with one fan exclaiming: "Wow! ! Vito pulling out all the stops with Sarah!", reports the Mirror.

Another fan enthused: "That was glorious! Dance of the series! Wow. Nothing more to say," while yet another echoed: "Wow wow wow. That looked incredible from Sarah and Vito." Additionally, one particularly moved fan commented: "Miranda is my feel good show, so I just got overly emotional at that dance."

The judges shared in the excitement, awarding Sarah and Vito an impressive 33 points, securing them a mid-table fifth place on the leaderboard.

However, it was ex-Love Island star Tasha Ghouri and her partner Aljaz Skorjanec who topped the leaderboard with a whopping 37 points, courtesy of their Quickstep to Mariay Carey's Fantasy.

So, who will be next to face the feared dance-off and who will be given their marching orders before Blackpool Week?
