What are we all playing this weekend?

Well? Do tell!

This is the last empty weekend before I go on holiday for a frankly indulgent three weeks. As such, it will likely be spent either remembering all the things my partner and I've not organised for the time we're away or racing to clear through the pile of things I've already remembered I've not organised for the holiday. Whatever the case, it shall not be restful.

Where am I going? Let's just say, I hope to return with some new pairs of glasses and a pair of trainers. If that doesn't give it away, I don't know what will.*

I'm embroiled in helping with a house move again this weekend, so there will be precious little gaming for me. I'd like to fit in a bit more Queen's Domain. I'm happy that the game appears to have caused a stir.

Jeremy
Castlevania work continues this weekend for our walkthrough, but I'm nearing the finish line. As my anxiety has been pretty bad lately, I will also do my best to catch up on sleep and enjoy time with the wife, as we're both having a very busy end-of-the-year. Dim sum on Sunday afternoon will hopefully be nice.

I must keep my lips shut about what I'll be playing for the majority of this weekend, but if I get any time beyond that I'd like to carry on swan diving my way through Assassin's Creed 3's remaster.

'Video games? I spit on video games!' James said. 'I would not end my week with such nonsense, not when I could be usefully spending time refining my perpetual motion machine.' Sadly, we all know that's a euphemism for sitting in a rocking chair and eating off-brand Doritos.

I'm gonna return to Marathon for a while, I think. I miss the feel of its maps. But I'll probably need something a bit less stressful to play as well, balance it out a bit. Ooh, maybe this weekend will finally be the weekend I try out Captain Of Industry properly? I've been interested for ages, and recently started watching a Let's Play which has helped me get my bearings a bit.

Marching toward the Treehouse exit in a suit made of tent canvas, Callum announced he was going camping. His jacket sleeves and trouser legs were lined with tentpoles, which made the sight of him trying to climb down the rope ladder an awkward one.

This weekend I'm playing games that aren't exactly secret – they're all out in the world and playable – but I need to keep them secret from you. You see, I'm trying to play through some of the team's Advent Calendar picks so I can either bolster their vote or try to lobby them to swap them out with one of my faves from the year. I will also be trying to get Crimson Skies working on my PC because I want to once again barrel roll through a canyon in the cockpit of a Hughes P21-J Devastator.
