ZURICH, Aug 27 : American Masai Russell blazed to a world record in the women's 100 metres hurdles at the Zurich Diamond League on Thursday.

Russell pulled away over the final hurdle to cross in 12.09 seconds, bettering the previous mark of 12.12 set by Nigeria's Tobi Amusan in 2022.
