Preferred Hotels & Resorts added 28 properties to its global portfolio between July 1 and September 30, 2026, marking its largest quarterly expansion since 2024.

The additions span Europe, Asia, the Americas and other markets, covering city hotels, heritage properties, resorts and private-island accommodation.

Diamonds Thudufushi in the Maldives is among 28 additions to Preferred Hotels & Resorts’ global portfolio in 3Q2026

In Asia-Pacific, the new members include The Fujiya Hotel in Hakone, Japan; Hotel Banov Townscape Wuhan and Tonino Lamborghini Hotel Chengdu in China; Nuju Uluwatu in Bali, Indonesia; and The Leela Coorg Forest Sanctuary in India.

The Fujiya Hotel, which opened in 1878, has 120 guestrooms and suites across four buildings, several of which are designated cultural heritage structures. Facilities include hot spring baths, a spa and three restaurants.

In Wuhan, Hotel Banov Townscape Wuhan occupies a restored building dating to 1910. The 45-room property retains architectural features associated with the city’s former tea trade.

Other additions include UMusic Hotel Madrid in Spain, which has 130 guestrooms and direct access to the Albéniz Theatre, and Palazzo Trezza in Verona, Italy, a restored Renaissance residence with 11 suites.

In the Maldives, the 69-villa Diamonds Thudufushi has joined the Lifestyle Collection, offering beachfront and overwater accommodation alongside diving and marine activities.

To mark the expansion, Preferred Hotels & Resorts is offering members of its I Prefer Hotel Rewards programme 2,500 bonus points on eligible stays at participating new member properties.

The loyalty programme has more than six million members and covers over 700 participating hotels and resorts worldwide.
