J. Randall Farnagalo won the presidency with 92 votes and will lead the group for a four-year term from 2026 to 2030, succeeding founder Z. Isaac Dahn.

The newly elected executive team includes J. Randall Farnagalo, President, P. Legay Kerbay, Vice President for Administration, Charles S. Garyu, Vice President for Operations, Dixon G. Leabah, General Secretary, Abraham L. B. Saye, National Youth Chair, Martha Yeedoun Topean, National Treasurer, Opee M. Willie, National Financial Secretary and Rita Domah, National Chairlady.

Members and supporters many traveling from Nimba County’s various districts as well as from across Liberia’s counties turned out in large numbers to participate in the special election.

The spirited gathering reflected deep interest in the organization’s future direction and demonstrated strong grassroots engagement among Nimbaians living outside the County.

Outgoing leader, Z. Isaac Dahn, the founder of Nimba KWADO, attended the event and offered remarks praising the organization’s achievements under his leadership.

He also pledged his support for the incoming administration and encouraged members to work together for unity and community development.

In his acceptance remarks, President-elect J. Randall Farnagalo outlined priorities for his administration. He pledged to strengthen unity among Nimbaians living across Liberia and abroad, improve communication and coordination between the national leadership and district-level chapters, promote youth engagement through training programs, mentorship and economic opportunities, enhance transparency and accountability in the organization’s financial and administrative processes, support community development initiatives in health, education, and small-business development within Nimba County and the wider Liberian diaspora of Nimbaians.

Supporters described Farnagalo as a unifying figure with a vision to modernize the organization’s operations while preserving its cultural ties and civic mission.

Several delegates told reporters they were optimistic the new leadership will expand Nimba KWADO’s role in advocating for local development and representing members’ interests.

The election ceremony featured speeches from community leaders, music and moments of celebration as newly elected officers were announced.

Delegates observed a structured voting process, and observers praised the peaceful conduct of the election. Local vendors and residents also turned the gathering into a community event, with food and crafts on display.

The new executive will convene an inaugural meeting to finalize an action plan and to establish committees tasked with implementing priority programs.

Membership registration and outreach drives are planned to ensure broader participation from Nimbaians living in urban centers and rural districts alike.

Nimba KWADO has asked members to remain engaged and to volunteer for committees that will support the organization’s programs.  The group also plans to publish a calendar of activities and a regular newsletter to keep members informed.
