Senior NCP (SP) leader and Sharad Pawar faction MLA Jitendra Awhad has received a threatening phone call. The caller allegedly said, “I am standing outside your house. I will finish you off.”
The call was reportedly made by an unidentified person at around 4:30 pm on Sunday, October 18. Awhad informed the police about the threat.
Meanwhile, Bollywood actor Tiger Shroff was reportedly targeted in a life-threatening attack at around 8 pm on Sunday. Police have arrested three shooters in connection with the incident so far. The shooters had allegedly conducted reconnaissance before the attack and were reportedly planning to flee to Nepal. They were apprehended in Rajasthan.
Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Eknath Shinde met Tiger Shroff on Sunday, while Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis spoke to the actor over the phone.
Fadnavis said the government would not spare the gang involved in the attack, regardless of which gang it belonged to.
