“Money” Moicano is a savage.

Renato Moicano scored his first Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) main event win at UFC Paris last night (Sat., Sept. 28, 2024) when he battered the ultra-tough Benoit Saint-Denis to force a doctor stoppage in between the second and third round from inside Accor Arena in Paris, France (watch highlights).

Hours after the fight, reporter Kevin Iole revealed that Moicano suffered a nasty shoulder injury in the second round and shared a picture of the X-ray.

Check it out below:

Moicano replied to Iole’s tweet shortly after, revealing that he had injured his shoulder three weeks ago.

I hurt my shoulder 3 weeks ago... but I couldn’t pull out of a main event… thank you my team for helping me training like that to get me ready for the fight,” Moicano wrote.

The actual injury is unknown at this time, but stick to MMAMania.com for an official diagnosis.

According to the UFC Paris post-fight show, two other fighters, Saint-Denis and Matt Frevola, were transported to the local Paris hospital after their fights for a precautionary CT scan of the head and face.

Frevola, who was brutally knocked out by Fares Ziam (watch highlights), was cleared to leave but suffered a left orbital fracture.

Saint-Denis’ injuries are unknown.
