Motorola is preparing to expand its iconic Razr lineup beyond the traditional clamshell form factor with its first wide, book-style foldable smartphone. According to a new report from Android Headlines, the highly anticipated device—internally dubbed the “Razr Flex” under the codename “Parker”—is tentatively targeting a mid-December launch to challenge established competitors like Samsung and Apple.

The upcoming flagship promises top-tier display technology, featuring a 6.92-inch OLED inner screen with a swift 165Hz adaptive refresh rate and comprehensive HDR support, including Dolby Vision. The exterior will house a 4.97-inch OLED cover display. Weighing in at a relatively light 215 grams, the chassis is built for durability with IP48 and IP49 ratings, and it will debut in two distinct Pantone colorways: Coriander and Dark Botanical Garden. A dedicated physical AI key and a side-mounted fingerprint scanner integrated into the power button are also expected to be part of the hardware layout.

Under the hood, the Razr Flex is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor, running Android 17 out of the box.
